Brian Bowles (born June 22, 1980) is an American mixed martial artist (MMA). He is currently fighting for World Extreme Cage Fighting (WEC) as a bantamweight. So far he is undefeated in his mixed martial arts career. Bowles most impressive win was when he defeated Marcos Galvao at WEC 31 via KO at 2:09 of the second round. Most recently he defeated Damacio Page at WEC 35 via Guillotine Choke in the first round. Bowles is currently ranked by MMAWeekly as the #3 Bantamweight fighter in the world. While training for his last fight he worked at Allgood Lounge located in Athens, GA. Bowles was scheduled to fight WEC Bantamweight Champion Miguel Angel Torres in the main event of WEC 40 on April 5, 2009 in Chicago, Illinois, though he sustained a back injury weeks before the fight was to take place, causing the WEC to replace him with Top Ten Bantamweight Takeya Mizugaki. With Torres' deafeat of Mizugaki at WEC 40, Bowles is scheduled to fight Torres for the WEC Bantamweight Championship at WEC 42 on August 9, 2009 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
