Brendan Todd Haywood (born November 27, 1979, in New York City, United States) is an American professional basketball player. The 7' 0", 263-lb. center currently plays for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association. As a teenager, he was teamed with Elton Brand of the Philadelphia 76ers, Ron Artest of the Houston Rockets, Rafer Alston of the Orlando Magic and Lamar Odom of the Los Angeles Lakers on the same AAU team.
